Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
i say the z you are looking at is a lil pricey... keep looking for cheaper.. but as for the idea in itself.. the z06 got a lot of potential and is fun so i say go for it... and you will still have the other car around so no worries right? only thing tho is if you lose your job by the time ur 25 ur insurance will go through the roof accoring to the quotes i got when i wanted a vette

Financial Advice
I love these cars to death, but I'm just tryin to spare somebody from the pain of the thing that is "the car loan" . Use some of that 4k a month you're making and invest it so you can buy the car outright or close enough.
LOAN = BANK SLAVE

He's right my man. Listen to these guys & take advantage of their exp. Put you money in real estate , start with a nice pad & keep the Mario for now. Hold off for just a couple of years , get settled in with your new home , then take another look at a used 06 or 07 Z06. All good things come to him that exhibits patience & good judgement .

Yeah man, you enjoy your toys way more when you aren't worry about how to pay for everything. The bill just sucks the fun out of life.
I had a 03 CR250 I loved to ride, but I had to pay for it every month along with all my other bills. I sold it and now I breathe so much easier without that dog gone note every month.
Since we are all auto people here, I suggest watching the stock market for the major auto makers. Ford is worth crap right now. GM has come back up a tad since last year but is still sucking. Now could be the time to get in and make a big investment. I've been thinking about it for a while. Reason being I don't see either of these companies folding. I think there are rough times right now and there is BIG change going on. The auto industry is morphing into a new beast over the next 20 years. I think it could be worth a shot. People dog the market when it's bad, but that is the time to locate the companies who have the balls to make a comback in the future.
I'm no pro investor that's just what I can see happening.
