What have you beat?

I really don't do too much racing on the street. A few I did finally give into are:
Newer Evo with turbo upgrades- beat him by 1 car length all the way up to 130. From the 60mph roll I pulled away a little and kept the lead until we both let off.
3 or 4 2000-2006 Mustang GT's- smoked them.
A couple ricers with big wings and slow cars..so slow it was like they were standing still when I went WOT.
Lost to a Z06 vette, don't think it was stock, so far only car that has beat me and was before I added the stall converter which wouldn't make that much of a difference anyway.

i have a 99 ss with free mods, lid, k&n, and exhaust cut out (love that sound).

some of my favorite kills;

02 cobra
new gt's
e30 m3
srt4
countless "Lesser" cars... imports.
the fastest ford f350 i ever saw, especially as the truck was about 12 inches above stock rolling on 38's. It didnt exactly keep up with me, but ill tell you it would smoke 99 percent of the ricers ive raced. I think it had the 6-gun system plus whatever else.

the most fun ive ever had losing a race was to a ferrari 360 spider. gorgeous car. I lived in LA for a time, I was about to get on the 101 a few miles east of the 405 around 330 in the morning. waiting at the red light the 360 pulled up and revved at me. sounded amazing. i gave it right back though (exhaust cut-outs sound meeeaan). It was really awesome to hear italian vs. american iron 8's howling at eachother! green came and we both hit hard, i lost a little traction while he stuck in pretty good. stayed basically with him through first and second but once he hit third that thing really flew. thumbs up was given both ways and we messed around all the way to the 405 where he got off.

I have had my car for less than a week and have won 3 out of 3 races. 2 of the races were against my friends cars a 180 sx rhd with boost controller and full 3" exhaust at 14 psi. and my other friends 79 5.0 mustang. also raced another random 5.0 mustang that called me out.

by the way my car is a 1998 z28 a4 completely sttock with a k&n filter

i have gotten quiet a few satisfying kills since my last post.. but my most recent brush was yesterday... brand new bmw745li and we raced from 50-120.... idk what was going on but i beat him by a LOTTTT even with completely letting off the throttle for about 2 seconds to toy with him...

Those mustangs aren't that impressive, unless they are supercharged or have lots of other mods.

First let me start off by saying I am new to the world of LS1's. But I am not new to racing. I owned and 1997 twin turbo Supra that was modded. Dynoed 456rwhp and 420rwtq. My last car was a 2004 Nissan 350Z 6mt (that was a complete peice of junk by the way) that stock was and beating Z28's on the street. It dynoed stock at 255 rwhp and 250 rwtq. The Z28 would pull on the jump but I would always outrun then until about 105mph and then they would start to pass me up. My 350Z ran a 13.8 @ 102mph in a 1/4 at no problem raceway with a 1.9 60ft with just a cold air intake on it and a set of BF Goodrich G-force tires. Then I added headers, exhaust, and a NOS 100hp kit with a tune done by CD over at sonic boom. The car was by no means any better than Z28 when modded and it sure didn't have the room a Z28 has to play with. I must say that every Z28 or Trans Am I ever raced on the track sure put a whoppen on me. Them cars transfer the power very well which is why I decided to purchase one for the strip. Not trying to start a fight or anything but please be reasonable with the kill stories. Thanks

P.S. I forgot to say what the 350Z dynoed at with the other mods. The final and best Dyno the car had on 93 octane pump gas and 100hp shot of NO2 was 386rwhp and 372Rwtq.

SRT8 Charger from a dead stop. Got him by about 3-4 cars out of the hole, and he never came any closer to me than that. I actually, ever so slowly, was pulling away before we had to let off.
425hp Hemi with a $40,000 price tag VS. my near stock $8000, 111,000 mile toy....
He wasn't a happy camper...

At that time, I had:

Borla adjustable catback
Home ported throttle body
Free ramair mod
TB bypass
De-screened MAF meter
SLP lid w/AirHog air filter
Vinci handheld programmer

Kinda hoping I see him again real soon since I now have JetHot longtubes, ORY, and a REAL tune in the car.

add a nissan skyline r33 and two c5 vettes to the ol tally sheet....

some queer around here has had one for a few years now. i went to high school with him.

hes a model and so he just had to have a skyline.

I saw a race 2 days ago with a WS6 and a SRT-8. The WS6 wore the pants off that SRT-8. Looked like something out horror movie. LOL The SRT-8 sounded good though. He sounded real good chasin after that WS6.

I think they can look pretty good, but there's no way in hell I'd pay 80 grand or whatever they are going for now days. I'd imagine in some areas you are just begging to get it stolen and chopped though...too risky.

most are illegal but for a few grand a year they can be kept legal.. not legal due to the fact they never were crash tested to be brought to the us... and also not to mention they list on insurance as an exotic... reason i say this is cuz my friend almost sold me his for 16 grand... decent price the upkeep is almost 10 grand a year

u got it. crash testing is the main issue. but some are "legal" but its kind of... debatable almost. certain parts of the u.s. wont allow them whatsoever... idk its confusing. they arent worth 80 grand, but i would still love to have one
