02 trans am collectors edition
Hi guys my aunt and uncle have an 02 collector edition vert a4 that they want to sell. It is in absolute mint condition with 4-5K on it. Always garage kept and never driven in bad weather. My question is what do you guys think is a fair market value for the car. I did a little research and it looks like mid 20's?? That sound about right to you guys? Thanks for the help I am a ford guy so I dont pay a lot of attention to what these cars are still worth.

Think you can post some pics up of it. I have a friend that is looking for a vert T/A with low miles.

Since their family offer them 5K and sell it to me for 6K you will make some money!! J/K You should be able to get about 22K-27K easy.

I was thinking they would be able to get more but I guess I was wrong. Most are in the mid 20's.

For a car to gain realy value it needs to have 5k miles on it and be stored for like 20 years lol not 5. I saw a 71 z28 with 4500miles on it go for 55,000 and they paid 4400 from factory, if you waited 35 years like they did you would get more than your money back.

Funny thing is, the 99 30ths are bringing more than the 02 CEs. It's a shame, the CE is a great car. I think you should be able to pull high 20s from that low mileage vert. The automatic hurts you a little.

And it sucks.. cause I did like the idea of having an anniversary car.. and they do look good.. just that yellow... <sigh> Would love to have a 'vert too. But If I'm spending 25+ on a car, I don't want to spend another 5gs on a paint job righ toff the bat. Good luck with it though.. put it on as many forums and ads as you can.. take lots of pics.
