Is this a scam, The guy called me after the auction and said the first bidder was his ex wife trying to tick him off buy loosing the auction. Look at the specs for the trans. is there to much added for an 4l60E. also is it possible to get 421 HP out of a stock bottom end. I think I'm going to look at it Sunday. what should i look for

I'm no expert but everything looks ok to me. I'd ask to see receipts. I'm always leary of someone that spells camaro wrong.

The stock bottom end will handle 421hp no problem.

Yeah dude, that ls1 @ 421 rwhp is kinda weird....i dont see any mods that could boost it quite that much...not even with trickflow valvetrain...i don't know, if true that is a possible steal on your part, for 2000$

Ask to see the dyno sheet since he's claiming 421 and even said it was on a dyno. With the mods he listed through a auto I doubt he's making 421...so who knows what else he's hiding.

Plus the dumbass can't spell camaro or torque. I mean really, how do you own a camaro and you can't even spell it...it's only written on the grill, rear and dash

So i'm basically saying he might not even be the owner of the car like he's stating he is...

He gave me the second chance bid, it was clear he had some body bidding it up. He even called me and said it was his ex wife. Sounded to fishy for me to make a 10 hour round trip. I passed.

smart move on passing... but a reference to you asking if the stock bottom end can handle that kind of power.. if im not mistaken the stock bottom end is safe and sound till a strong 600hp.. maybe more... wouldnt recomend it but some people get away with it just fine

It is a crook's paradise. I got scammed for $2660+ on there on a ford 9" bolt in rear end. I got my money back but only because of the federal authorities (FBI) and illinois state police involvement. I was lucky. three other victims were not.

I think that ebay needs to monitor things a little more effectively or they will soon be out of business.

Not saying its not possible. But I think Most people would agree it would be smarter to switch to like a ls6 intake or an aftermarket when it comes to trying to make that much power.
