cobalt SS

ugh u ls1 people thinking u are the best thing ever errr lol j/k i love u guys but i love my car (O6 cobalt ss/sc) yes some of them come stock with recaros mine did !!! yes i beat gts all day long 04 and down the 05 and up are faster but they have a sucky driver and u have a badass driver and ur good to go but other than that no ......but dont under estimate the ss ... and about the srt4 yes omg they have like 15 more horsepower omg noooo lol they look like a freaking faimly car !! and the interior is a peice of crap !!!! i got my cobalt for a first car ......its great dont get me wrong i love v8s but for a 4 banger this thing is badass ....oh and in a couple months my 4 banger will be running 12's and nooo im not hating on anyones car i loves ls1!!!! my friend has rev-it-up-ta .....we live together !!!! so again im not hating but please dont hate on me okie ...love yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cobalt SS is pretty good for the 4 cyl... hey it's s/c and fast...

better than the rice cars...

As I last recall MotorTrend did a competition in which...the SRT-4 just barely edged out the Cobalt SS s/c... by the slightest of margins stock for stock... but beware of them 500HP mopars... cause they'll take any cobalt and smack it... and um... some LS1's too...(LIKE MINE!!! <==== nearly stock)

Only if the Cobalt had a turbo and not a SC it would be much better. A friend of mine had a Ion Red-Line I got to beat on quite a bit. It was fun and quick for a 4cly, but I still hated the fwd. The Recaro's are an option for the Cobalt and standard for the RL. The rev limiter cuts in much to quick to get the best performance out of it. That motor does like to rev though!

Ya the cobalts geared to the fwd "import" crowd. Making it rwd would kill its market share. Would be interesting though if they made an awd turbo SS.
