on my way to us 41 drag, I did 150 according to the speedo. I told my boss who lives in indiana and he told me that the cops hide out in the corn fields. I felt stupid after that. But I'll probably do it again.

My fastest is about 145-150 mph in my T/A, the speed isn't frightening, dodging traffic in a stock car, ie...no suspension/handling upgrades can be..the car starts to kinda rock at higher speeds due to Gforce and therefor you can't swurve aswell

It's weird how once you go that fast you almost get used to it. Or maybe its like a drug and I am just wanting it all the time now....... 150 last nite with the top off.

yep...once I get the Eibachs and the rest of that suspension stuff sorted out...I'm going for... Maxxed out Speedo... (my previous was 150mph)

In my 95'TA i was running a buddy in a 96'Z28 (both heavily moded). We were clocked by a tropper at 140. We actaully were done racing and slowing back down to the speed limit when he caught us (we had no idea he was comming, didnt even see him).

He was kind enough to put "140+++" on the ticket since he saw our brake lights when he got us..

7tickets, ARRESTED, cars impounded, 2yrs probation, driving school, 3000$+ in lawyer and court fees. WHAT A FUN NIGHT THAT WAS!!

I've taken the new bird over 100 about once a week or so but have not yet been back to that speed...(not sure it will hold together LOL, needs suspension..)
