So, the differences are in the SS spoilers, but the Z28 spoilers are the same?

The lt1 also has alot less of flip up to it. Thats the best way i can describe it. But there is a definet differance between the two. The best way to describe a lt1 ss spolier in my opinion is it looks like a z28 spolier with just a little flip upwards in the back. The ls1 has much more of a flip on the back and has the two support bars and the led brake light like Y2KPewterSS said.
Yes the z28's are the same the ss are different.

if ever/when ready to get a spoiler i would get the Lt1 bc it would be different and not soo much a trying to be a clone.

would removing the stick on/silicon 3 pc to the body harm the paint??
and will there be marks left over to have to repaint????

It kind of depends on how well the paint has been taken care of. I believe the 3pc is held on with the same tape the side molding is. I would try taking one of the small side peices off first and see how it looks, I don't think it will be bad seeing as you have a white car.

the LT1 and LS1 are interchangable, but totally different like Y2k stated in his post...
personally, i would love to see someone cutoff the two vertical supports and re-fiberglass the Ls1 SS spoiler. hell even i have thought about doing it, just for a different cleaner look. maybe someday when i get a house, i will look into it...

IIRC The mecham Z29R spoiler has this look you are after. It does not have the pillars and the higher flip.
