Do i have to drop the engine??
Well i found a hole in the boot of the passanger side of the "rack and pinion"
leaking power steering fluid all over.
i found one at a junk yard for 91 bucks, off of a 02 camaro fe2 option with 47 miles on it.
My question is do i have to drop the engine to get this off?? or any sugestions on how to replace the old one??? Please help.

I don't imagine you would have to drop the engine for that, then again, I've never done it.

you don't lower the engine. you'll need to lift it slighlty to remove the driver's side bolt. if you have a torch, you can lift the driver's bolt and cut it off at the top side until you can remove it. then. install the new bolt from the bottom.

the engine can't be lowered any further that what it is in the car now. they lowered the k-member and held the motor in place.
