True Duals Installed...w/ pics!!
Hey guys
I just got my car back a couple of weeks ago from having the new exhaust put on. I had a local shop fab it up, the guy custom bends all the pipe on site. He said it was one of the hardest systems he's done, took a week to finish in total. I'm very happy with the results, he made sure there were no creaks/rattles/ect, and it sounds very nice. Pretty tame at idle, but when you are under throttle you can really hear it. Mufflers are 6" round Magnaflows, tips are Hooker 3.5" slash cut.

what did that cost you? Looks great. Wish I could find someone around here to do that without me having to mortgage the house.

Thanks.
Well he quoted me $500-$600, but it ended up being $700 even because of how long it took and the fabrication he had to do to the spare tire well. The Magnaflow 6" muffler on the passenger side hit the spare tire well, causing it to be off center at the outlet, so he had to reshape the tire well and reseal the whole thing as well. He also made his own brace in the center of the car where the stock exhaust crossmember went, since the stock one woudn't clear.

Looks great.
Are you able to lower the rearend with the driveshaft in place? Certainly doesn't look like you can anymore.

Change the fluid.
Break driveshaft.
I can think of several times I had the body of my car up and the rearend hanging for something.
Springs.
Shocks.
It isn't that big of a deal though. Just an observation is all.

WESMAN! Congrats on the new system! They did a nice J.O.B.!
What headers are they?

That seems like a great shop that did that work! They got both of the mid pipes exactly the same with 2 hard bends!

I ended up going with the stainless steel LT's from SS Autochrome (eBay). I was very impressed with the quality and fitment, didn't have to notch the k-member or remove any components. The only issue was with the drivers side collector being angled slightly too high, which caused the Y-pipe (included with the headers) to hit the floor bad enough that I couldn't even slide the pipe all the way onto the collector. When they did the TD exhaust they just put a slight downward s-bend (you might be able to see it in the first pic) in order to clear the floor, problem solved.
The shop that did the work was Tony's Auto in Washington, NJ. The guy's name is Ed who specializes in the custom exhaust work, if he doesn't get the job done exactly how he wants he will start over from scratch, like to get things perfect

Post a sound clip! I've never heard a system that goes all the way out the back.
