Imports are more reliable
...my ASS. I have had so many problems with my Mazda, I'm ready to call it quits. Every time I fix a problem with the car, it gives me another

its kinda like this i think of it as. you drive a american sports car hard and its suppose to be meant to handle it to like 100k say you drive a import sports car hard itll last till like 50k you would have to drive a import sports car normally to last to 100k while as the vette or something wouldnt really care lol

i've had good/bad experiences with imports. had a 2000 celica, loved it. had a 99 3000gt, hated it. constantly fixing crap. so far so good with the TA, 2 years, nothing but oil changes (knock on wood!)

It's part of the Ford franchise, I don't know how that works. My car was built in 92 or 93, in Hiroshima, at least the motor was. All I know.

imports arent meant to be beat on. They're fuel economy cars.

i HAD A 87 T/A that had 218,000 miles and I took it to the track anyway. With a 305TPI it would still run 15.6.

noone ever said all imports are reliable... everyone knows old mitsubishis and mazdas suck... hondas and toyotas are the "reliable" ones, but they still have problems. no car is perfect

Well 3000gts are one of the most pain in the ass cars to work on a 3000gt and a rx7 are 2 cars that come to mind that if u buy it ur going to have to put the time in for maintence there high maintence cars and very tight engine bay to work on which makes it even fucking more of a pain in the ass haha

3000gt's are known to have problems too. It was a technological nightmare. Mistu bit off more then they could chew with that car. Very nice looking car though. The twin turbos were quick too. Problem was they weren't real wheel drive based and they were also 4,000 lbs. Dont believe me look it up lol heavy as hell.

unless the car is not stock, and unless it says supra, evo, or sti on the trunk lid, odds are, its probably a shitbox.
having said that, lets review:
american muscle: good morals, good performance, hot women.
imports: much fiberglass, stinking fart cans, sideways vag.
make the right decision.
