    Reasonable temp?

Whats a reasonable temp in the apartment in the summer time? I leave it at 70-71 my roomate keeps turning it to 74-75,thats to freakin hot. Im sure if I bring it up he will bitch about the electric bill, but we keep adjusting it all the time from each other. Not sure how to handle it. hmmm

damn... 70's are too freaken cold.. i keep my house about 80 or so. but i keep the windows open until it gets about 85 in house. then i'll turn the air on. but when you live in the desert, and you're used to it being 105-110 every day, you kinda get cold when the temp goes below 75.

My wife wants it at 70 and I say 72 so we keep it on 71 but I think that's too cold. At least for me anyway.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

all apts are different. I have a vaulted ceiling and it keeps alot of hot air up there-so during the day [while we're at work] we can leave it at 80 and it feels like 75 in there. Once i get up, i crank it down to 74 and it cools down pretty well [except the computer room...] Plus the sun sets on our corner and we'd get roasted if we didn't keep it low.

Luckily the nights are quite chilly, so i can kick it back up to 80 and leave the ceiling fan on for comfort.

    $54 a month lately

I keep my home at 74 during the day when I'm not here and crank it down to 67 at night. I can no longer live without central A/C. My electric bill does suffer quite a bit thought during the summer, usually worse than most people's car payments.
