Reputation points

I really don't know anything about them... I feel like it's a very underused part of LS1.com, because it's a real good idea but i feel like noone ever uses them. i never even knew how to add to someones reputation until before when i read the other guys thread.
Maybe a mod can sticky something about reputation points? Like information on how to add to someone's, way to find out your own, and to encourage us users to leave both positives and negatives? I feel like its a MUCH better way to guage the value of a user to this website than just stupid post count.
Also you start with 10 right? This way the PEOPLE can decide if a user doesn't contribute anything they can leave negatives and there would be reprocussions or somehting from the mods... Any other ideas?

I'm not sure what the deal with them is. I can't even see how many anyone else has. I can view my own, but that's it.

We tried to get the staff to answer our questions on this whole reputation thing before in this thread:

Either no one knows or no one wants us to know.

The itrader thing is easier to use as you just click on the rating in the right sections (for sale section) and give approval/feeback similar to ebay.

I am currently at a 5 rating so you can serach for my name to see all the options for itrader.

Btw I repped you guys as I still would like to see someone get to 2 dots....
