damn... 70's are too freaken cold.. i keep my house about 80 or so. but i keep the windows open until it gets about 85 in house. then i'll turn the air on. but when you live in the desert, and you're used to it being 105-110 every day, you kinda get cold when the temp goes below 75.

My wife wants it at 70 and I say 72 so we keep it on 71 but I think that's too cold. At least for me anyway.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
all apts are different. I have a vaulted ceiling and it keeps alot of hot air up there-so during the day [while we're at work] we can leave it at 80 and it feels like 75 in there. Once i get up, i crank it down to 74 and it cools down pretty well [except the computer room...] Plus the sun sets on our corner and we'd get roasted if we didn't keep it low.
Luckily the nights are quite chilly, so i can kick it back up to 80 and leave the ceiling fan on for comfort.
$54 a month lately

Is he bitching b/c it's cold or b/c the bill is high?

i lived with a polar bear for my last roommate. i like it cold, but this guy was unbelievable. he wouldn't turn the heat on and kept calling me a pussy if i brought it up. it was 53 degrees in our house for 2 straight weeks, i was sleeping in a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, and wool socks. he was leaving his window up at night and sleeping in shorts and a t shirt. the morning i finally turned the F'ng heat on it wsa 46 degrees IN OUR HOUSE. he goes "what did you turn the heat on for? i finally didn't have to open my window last night" freakin ridiculous
