Anybody love Alice In Chains?

I saw them last year at Musikfest with William Duvall singing. I am a huge AIC fan and I wasn't expecting much when we got there, but this dude does them great justice! He was plain awesome, very similar to Layne and didn't do anything different to the songs. Just got up there and belted them out! I couldn't believe how good they are live, good lord. The VH1 Rock Honors show was absolutely amazing! That was very tight! They are supposedly working on a new album and rumors are floating around they will hit the road with Velvet Revolver this summer.

They were the first band I ever liked! Dirt was the first cd i had ever owned, my dad bought it for me when i was in 2 or 3 grade. i still listen to them to this day. they were one of the best bands ever( my opinion)!!!!

this is the best thread ever!!yeah,im a huge aic fan,have been eversince facelift debuted when i was in high school.yeah aic is touring again..but its not aic w/out layne & never will be.

so ya know go out & get mad season`s album titled above.its a side band layne started in `94/95 w/ a few other great musicians & it is a f`n masterpiece

The jist of what you jus said sums it up for me anyawys. Alice In Chains is one of few bands that I liked when I was a lil kid and still like now. That really says something.

They can replay all those great songs but the heart of what made that and what made it great will NEVER be replaced.
