Can you be a bit more specific here? I assume you're talking about 96-97 LT1 vs Cobra, but I'm not sure. If that is the case, then perhaps we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Personally, the quickest pass I ever saw (with my own eyes) from a bone stock 96-98 Cobra was a 13.4 @ 105 mph. My own car went 13.6 @ 104, bone stock. BTW, that's bone stock, nothing added, nothing taken away, nothing changed.

I never had an LT1 F-body, so I will defer to other's experiences or do the magazine racing thing.

learn to read. i said MOST. i wasn't saying i'm a god around here. i said most steer clear because if you know any thing about sh!t stains they can not hang with a Ls1. most have trouble with a Lt1. i didn't say i was a term killer but i have killed a few n/a cobras. sooo i'm all for meeting you half way w/ or with out the blower.

...Are you on crack ???,The car is set up and the A-4 block goes in this month so I can raise the boost the only way you will beat me is if I leav my car here ! Even if I dont do the Mods you will never beat this car ,like I said its set up... are you.... or are you one of these guys that puts more power in the car and prays to the gods that it ....wont spin ,goes perfect with no bogs in the throttle and has perfect power all the way through ,,,I would make an ass out of you so fast ...you sound like a Ricer in a Camaro ...to bad cause most of my buds down here drive them and never talk smack like you !

By the way the car runs mid 10s you Dumb Ricer Wait its only 3100lbs too OOOPS !

i only stated that most stangs around here won't race me. i wasn't dogging stangs just stating a fact! the only ones that i have ran is a 96cobra ,01cobra and a 86 lx w/ a stroker kit and 150 shot. the 86 layed a beating on me!

then you being a topical Mustang Dick. responed like i called you out. and in usual fassion you need a blower and a fully built chassis to run some one! but thats cool.

i'm building mine as well. next is a moser 12 bolt,heads/cam and i'll be runnig a blower from EPP. so call me then

ford made their 4v engines for being boosted or sprayed. gm's ls1...not soo much.

you can only put around 8 psi safely through our motors(ls1). per Bob @ EPP
but i will have a forged bottom end before i try any thing over 9psi.

If your car is putting out any kind of real boost then you’re running like 8:1-8.5:1 compression and I can’t see that car betting a focus let alone a LS1 that’s modded. Boosted cars (that put out real boost) loose so much power when they loose a belt it's not even funny, because they are set up for just that boost. So I say pull off that belt and put up the video of some times or of that LS1 walking the dog with you.
