Haha...I've been feeling this lately myself.


Back in the day, every weekend or chance we got (we being my friends and me) we'd be out doing something stupid, staying up to watch movies and get drunk or nerding out playing some RTS all night long.

Nowadays I'm in bed by 10-11pm at night, up at 6:30-7am...and on the weekends, I can't seem to stay up past 12-1am...and then I'm awake no later than 10am. I used to stay up until 7-8am and sleep until the evening and wake up.

I suppose it's not ENTIRELY a bad thing. I just realize I cherish my sleeping much more...and I realize that if I don't sleep I'm an arsehole the next day and I hate life.

I get to start college at the age of 27! No wife, no kids...just a delayed future!

eesh, its right around 1am right now and i'm awake, tires as shit, talking to some ladies i'd hope to get with in the near future. Its the ONLY thing that keeps me awake late, otherwise i'm usually asleep by 10:30.

I closed the bar down wednesday night, Drank in the parking lot afterwards, got a ride home and was asleep by 4:00 4:30 amish. I had to be to work at 7:00 am and its 35 mintues away. I had class for Caterpillar all day to top it off. Bring back any memories for any of you old farts?

I hear ya man im all of 23 but sometimes I just don't feel like doing anything but sleeping or just sitting in front of the tv or xbox. Alot of my friends are younger and doing the college thing so all they do is party. Where I have a full time job and bills to pay unlike them all they have to do is go to school and mommy and daddy pay for everything. I go out hear and there but have try to keep it to a night were I don't have to work the next day. I went crazy for like 8 months were pretty much thurs, fri, sat and sun I was out drinking but it really started to wear on me.

It's not so much that I feel old but I have responsibilties that come first.

Hmm. I kinda wished I did MORE stupid shit at your age than at mine. Nothing more odd than an older guy acting like a drunken fool cuz he didnt get it out of his system when he was younger.

Same situation goes for getting married too early then realizing later you shouldve fucked more people.

i agree. 23-26 was the best for me. Drinking,clubbing and always out for a joyride to where ever you wanted. Hanging out at the corner store with friends shooting the shit,finding people to race bla bla bla. Now most of my friends are in other states, bought my own place a few years ago and needs work, have to worry about "what if i loose my job", why the hell is there some kind of new fee in my (cable,electric,phone) bill not to mention nj's outragous taxes and tools. I do my 8hrs at work then i want to crash. Man i miss working part time 3 days a week with weekends off.

growing up sucks. 2 years ago zboner and I used to start our weeknights @ 9pm/10pm/11...just go out, romp around, make some noise and hit the hey. now i look as the clock strikes 11:06 and say 'man, it's so late..." even though i'm not going to work tomorrow

I just feel like i've lost that youthful spirit and i always told myself to stay 22 forever...this sucks....i don't wanna grow up!
