98-02 T/A pricing
Is it possible to even find a 98-02 TA with 70K or a little less for around 8K??The reason I ask is because I would like to get a 98-02 TA but I would have to take out a loan and being 19 the insurance would be costly too.
Just Curious. Input will be greatly appreciated!!Need all the help I can get.

Not sure what the reserve is. I doubt it in low enough for this buyer to purchase one those two cars. You might be able to find one .... Just keep looking.... It's possible. Maybe buy a shell for a few grand and build the motor of your dreams to drop in it.

Mine is a High milage 02 WS6, had 90k on the clock. Paid 16k for it, which is a lil much, but I couldn't find any other blue ones, so I said fuck it.

I found this one for sale and hes located in grand rapids, MI. If your interested let me know and ill get you more info and pics
2000 firebird T/A 400+hp
**Price Drop $8500 OBO now**
I have a 2000 Pontiac firebird trans am for sale. Ive had it two years, it has 89,000 miles. It has the following mods:
FMS f13 cam 230/232 .595 lift with supporting valvetrain
Long tube headers with full 3" exhaust
SLP intake
1.2" drop B/M springs with new blistein shocks/struts
weld in Subframe connectors
3200 stall with full lockup
Walbro fuel pump
new tie rods
It only dyno 299.4 on a mustang dyno but that was with a bad torque converter. I have since swapped that out and replaced with a full lock up and now it pulls like crazy. I dont have track times as its never been raced with this setup. I made one pass when i first got it and it posted a 13.4@105.9 all stock. I would expect high 11's with good traction but probably low 12's.
The transmission was rebuilt around 81,000 miles with upgraded internals. Exotic performance plus installed and tuned the cam last september with additional tranny cooler, ls6 oil pump, new water pump, etc. mechanically should be like a new car. I just recently got it out of storage and i need to clean it up. I desperatly need to sell this car because i cant afford my payments anymore. Fixing it up i accumulated a lot of credit card debt and need to get my priorities straight. I need $8500 to pay the car off. I'll get new pics soon, I have a set of ws6 wheels im putting on it in a week or two.slp lid,maf and smooth bellow. ls6 intake, cnc ported and polished ls6 heads with competition valve job. cam 237,242 .603,.609 113 lsa. pacesetter longtube headers and off road y-pipe. magnaflow catback
dyno numbers on a mustang dyno
394 rwhp @ 6300 RPM
345.7 rwtq @ 4800 RPM

- Secret.
I sold my 98 ta with 80k on it about a year ago and i got 7900 out of it. I just seen a sweet deal on a 99 with 54k ram air go for 8500 in the trader. I guess the guy needed money right away..I called him the day after the issue came out and he said someone had already came and picked it up...
So...I think its very possible to find one if you wait and don't get too anxious.

there is an 02 Firebird (doesn't say t/a, formy or v8/v6) with 32k miles, black w/ ttops, 'sharp car' it says, for 12,500 in my local paper. Made me sick to read that ad, i want an ls1 car pretty bad, but nope, got me an lt1 instead for a whole heck of a lot less!

i got my 2001 TA with 25,000 miles for a little over 16,000. i mean its kinda hard to get a loan unless you have a co signer or you drop a cool down payment. they always say its to much car cuz your young but you have to talk them into it i did!! and for insurance i have progressive and i onl pay 235 a month. there is a trick yo it if you get a loan you have to have full coverage so when you get the loan get cuddle gap ins, so then when you go to get insurance you can have a 2500 deductable and collison and comprhensive that which is covered by cuddle gap ins which well lower your insurance. im only 19 and thats my payment.

I got my stock 99 TA (non ws6) for 11,200 almost two years ago. she had 55K on her, it was a pretty good deal. I know u want to find one for ur price range, but i don't think u'll find much. keep in mind, a car with lower miles with have less problems and shit wont get fucked up so soon. my car doesn't have any major problems, but she aint perfect.
