Every car is different. Mine sits at 41psi+ at hot idle. Always have. Some cars sit on 30psi, some sit on 50. As long as it is consistant.

So thats why people want stick. Autos are fun as hell i owned one but i would never go back.

No more arguments about stick or auto lol.

Right who said a roll race was at the track lol. What point are your proving other than you never do roll races?

Im glad you like your auto its good that you like the T/A i like mine too but like i said i have had both and I just wouldnt have as much fun with an auto. Racing was fun even if it was an auto now that i race with a stick i just get more of a thrill racing cause its really you controling the car, its up to you to make this next shift its about your skill. Thats what i like. I admit i also do like winning which just fuels me to get better at it.

Can you show me a stock auto F-body in the 12's? Anyone, ANYONE? I didnt think so!

After you put a stall in it and on and on, yes, the auto is mean. But with a practiced driver, the 6-speed usually trumps it stock/stock at the track. I have seen it often enough.

Thing is, we all know manual LS1 F-body's can do it. But can the driver? My friend ran 12.9@107. He is the only on I PERSONALLY know other than what I read about Evan Smith running 12.8. Stock/stock with a GREAT driver, the M6 will beat the A4.

GET WHAT YOU WANT! Both can be modded and you will hate the car if you dont enjoy driving it. Is .2 in the 1/4 worth hating your ride? I don't think it is...

consider an m6 bro, all kinda fun with that. you can drop it out of a plane and still use it-they're freakin bullet proof
you do know that DRs and a hard launch have been known to blow the rears on six speeds?
as for automatics, they are rather forgiving but with 400 rwhp and up, the stock trans will hold up about 20k.

the only thing most six speed drivers do at the track is moan, bitch and complain about how they bogged the car, missed a gear or hit the rev limiter.

lets see a six speed to consistant times, never going to happen.

no way brother, i've heard of stage 3,4,5 a4's falling apart after a few hundred miles. i'm sure a race tranny [th300...350...400] is a different story, but i just can't accept that the a4 is built as well as the t56

ive seen A4s fall apart fast and same with M6s. its kind of luck of the draw at times.
