Interest in CME Valance Replica
I got a thread going on ls1tech about someone possibly producing a CME Valance. If you are interested, please read through the thread, primarily my posts to keep you updated. People want the valance and as it stands it would go into production at way less than Ebay prices.

I have been intested in the cme for some time now. The only bad thing is they are discontinued and $700-800 on ebay. If the fitment and quality of fiberglass are near perfect I would definently be interested in one and would pay $250-300 for one.

It will be a polyurethane piece, just like the original and should fit just like it. It will be made from a mold of my original valance. Thanks for your interest.

Man, I hope we get this thing going soon. I don't want to get it delivered the same time my 5th Gen Camaro arrives!

I'm delivery my valance to him Sunday, May 6th. His usual production time on pieces is 1 month. It should advance quickly once he gets the valance mold.

This is a pretty cool idea, I guess I'm pretty happy I sold all mine several months ago.
Is he willing to make a custom one? I personally don't care for the SLP one myself.

He can probably make a custom one but it might be a lot more money.

UPDATE: The valance was dropped off last week and they have now started to work on the mold. I'll post pics when I get them. Should be ready to go in about 3-4 weeks.
Stainless Works was contacted by another member but they never responded. Check out the thread on ls1tech.com. I update that one everytime I find out something new. As of right now there might be a shop in SoCal that'll do the tips but they only have a rough idea of what the tips look like. They've never seen them in person so I'll have to drop off the tips or send them pictures to see if they can pull it off at a reasonable price. Thanks everyone.

I added your name to the list.
JUST AN UPDATE:
We still don't have anyone to be the test car for fitment of the valance. So, he hasn't started on this yet. If anyone is willing to lend a bumpber or just stop by for 30 minutes so we can get this going, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I might need my name dropped off the list. Last week my g/f wrecked our tahoe. The truck is fixable, but the dude she hit had his mother in the car with him and she just finished cancer treatments a week before the crash. My lawyer told me to "prepare yourself".
I'll keep in touch to let you know if i'm going to get my handed to me.
