12 sec Skittle and stock Evo 8
Raced my friend Damon in his black skittle...i think hes been a best of 12.9@110. And a stock silver Evo.
1st run i was behind the Evo and Damon was onside him.....i had to let off twice not to hit the Evo.
2nd was with Damon from a 1st gear roll with the Evo behind me...i pulled by about 2 cars from Damon and a little more on teh Evo to about 100.
3rd was from a dig with Damon and Evo behind me......i pulled by 2+ to about 110.
4th run was from a 40 with Damon and Evo behind me....i pulled by 1 car missing 3rd twice.
It was some good runs and had fun as usual

U must have some sick mods done to your SRT-4 and really know how to drive to boot! Best I ever saw one go was a 12.1 w/ DR's and stage 3 I believe. Whateve the high stage is, be it one or three. Also saw a kid with one that had the highest stage but I guess couldnt drive for crap cause he couldnt go better than 13.4 at 105?!?

a stock evo isnt even a challenge for you, only reason that dude got a 12.9 is cause of his awd launch...from a roll, especially stock, there dogs, and you from a roll is ssmmmokiin

The skittles biggest problem will always be traction. Had a friend who had one that laid down 469 whp. From a roll it was a damn beast. But anybody could beat him at the track or a dig with half that hp. He sold it and got a 6.0 goat because of that anything less and a 3rd gear punch would = loss for him.

Black- 2005 SRT-4
There are quite a few mods nowadays to remedy the traction situation. With these cars, and FWD in general, it's all about keeping your power to traction ratio even. As an example, someone taking that exact approach got a stock turboed SRT-4 into the high 11's.
Then, of course, we have a quite a few big turbo SRT-4's running 10's. Most seem to take the power approach and muscle themselves into lower E.T's instead of learning how to drive better and adding the appropriate mods to put that power down.
Motor mounts, tranny mounts, full suspension, h-brace, traction bars and so forth can all but eliminate wheel hop and assist you in better launches (there are even more ways to do this, one of the more popular of late is launch control; that is, dialing boost down in first gear to help with wheel spin).
And, of course, adding some meaty tires always helps. FWD may not be the best platform for the strip, but if they can get FWD cars into the 7's, it gives all us FWD peoples hope. Haha.
Then again, I'm more of a road racing type of person.
