Wheel hop
Never had a wheel hop problem until I changed the 3.23s out for the 3.73s. My suspension is all stock, except for SFCs, is this a common problem after a gear swap? or are they installed wrong? I also have lakewood LCAs that I haven't installed yet.

What other suspension mods will help? I have some pretty serious wheel hop, like earlier today I was backing out of a parking spot and I gassed on it a little, it bounced around so much my CD player skipped, pretty harsh.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
An after market torque arm would help as well. Might be time for new shocks as well.

What's a good shock for everyday driving and occasional drag racing?

I would put some Strange adj. rear shocks if it were me..... And I would check your current pinion angle to see where your at.
Yes it's a common problem after a gear swap such as your due to the tq increase of the intial hit.
I would buy an adjustable tq arm that will aid in your tuning.
And I would also replace your stiff stock springs with some junkyard V-6 springs. That will get your car to begin too weight transfer.
If you look at some of my other post I've went into detail on this subject multiple times already.
Koni's work good for handeling but NOT the best for drag racing or alowing weight tranfer.
Others that are not too "schooled" in tuneing fast cars will tell you the springs won't work and you need a stiffer spring to get rid of the hop but that is not so. Once you get the rearend to actually squat it will transfer the weight onto the rear and make it as stiff as needed.
I would set your pinion at 3-3.5*.
If you at 0 now or even pointing up already that is part of your problem also.
Good luck.
Thats my 2 cents take it or leave.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

What if I was looking into lowering my car as well? Is there any decent lowering springs for drag racing?

For that what I've done in the past is get a V-6 spring from the junkyard and take it to your local spring company and find out the spring rate and have them get you a spring in that rate with a shorter heighth.
Or you can cut the V-6 springs like others have done a 1/2 coil at a time until you get the height you want.
Use a cutoff wheel to cut and make sure you grind that sharp lip off the pig tail you cut so it will sit flat.
