Black | Black- '07 Z06 | '98 WS6
equivalent model... no speed difference
Chevy Camaro RS, Z28, SS
Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am, WS6
RS and Firebird have 3.8l V6
All 98+ Z28's, SS's, Trans Am's, WS6's, Formula's, and Firehawk's are Equipped with the 5.7l LS1 V8
The Pontiac Formula's have Firebird body panels but have the V8, kind of the sleeper car
The Pontiac Firehawk's are a rarer version of a Trans Am with a different hood, different badging, and a few SLP Performance mod's

OK I'm gonna show you boys up. The F stands for Fisher designer of the originals. Back in the day they used to have a tag in the door rail that read Body by Fisher

Perhaps its just coincidence, but I am going with TAP on this one. I had an 89 Bird and on the door sill plate it had a picture of a Horse drawn buggy that said "fisher" or "Fisher Design(ed)" (can't remember exactly). However, since i saw that I figured it was where the F came from.

body by fisher has no relationship to f-body. Had a 1972 Chevy El Camino that had the same door sill plate with "body by fisher" and an elcamino is an A-body.
