10-bolt CARNAGE...ENJOY!!!
Well fellas, the autopsy has been performed. Turns out, the ring gear bolts didn't go. There were four huge bolts that go into the left side of the diff, and two of those sheared off and proceeded to jam into everything and bust a series of holes in my irrepairable housing and diff cover.
Strange S60 is inevitable, resistance was futile.Last edited by Roastem; 03-29-2007 at 11:36 AM.

I was not dogging the 12's. They guy in the other thread was asking about "gains" from a 12. The only gain is reliability.

ok I just thought the whole thing sounded anti 12 bolt. and they are good in a performance aspect because you can run a much stickier tire

I think sticky tires is what did my 10-bolt in. With the stock tires and rims, I never had any issues.
The tires act like "drivetrain pressure regulators", in a sense. Sticky tires up the amount of pressure exerted on the drivetrain before they will let loose.
