HOLY SHIT!!!!!! i turned my back for 2 hours and ya'll go to war! good thing NHRA Formula isn't in here or he'd ream all your asses.

M6 pluses: great MPG for long trips; and i do take long trips often, love that i can rev the engine at any speed and not worry about a neutral-bomb.
A4 pluses: no need to shift, no killing the clutch, michelle could drive it.

the car i'm looking at is super low price; a black 99 w/ 19k miles for only $18k OBO...it's hard to pass up. I'm sure i'll miss the m6 no doubt...decisions decisions.

Yeah, but if you like to shift gears and use a clutch you miss the action.

Actually i have done all that but add a cell phone call in and mine is stick just takes fast hands and a calm mind lol.

With an M6 you are in control of what the tranny is doing.

and go threw alot more clutches and bounce the rev limiter

If it's a car no matter how the auto is done it's boring. I'd even get bored if I had a Viper with an auto. I'd only get one if it was for track only. I don't mind traffic. With the power there isn't much need to shift alot.

I wouldn't say better. It's mostly personal opinion. I think M6 is better and more fun.

look the fastest cars on the street, just about everyone of the is an auto

higher rev is better as close to 3500 to be closer to open throttle. but how you define fun for M6 for me is being too busy and unecessary for the built up A4 with stall. if you call fun grabing on a stick and playing 1-2 with your feet ok. but not fun for me. I am always at high rpm so don't need to downshift or nothing.

im thinking manual users dont have girlfriends and use thier hands alot

I like being able to cruise 80-85 and not be over 2000 rpms too.

2300 rpm at that speed, big deal 300 rpm

I never said manual were always faster and I did say auto's are better for racing.
