CMPD is a city/county police department. Serves about 800,000 people. Some is still very rural.

The problem with NC around Charlotte is that true southerners are getting rare. Upper NY pretty much moved down here. Subdivisions are popping up everywhere that farms used to be. It's changing and I don't like it. That goes for the surrounding counties too. Still, they are flocking here knowing they can sell a house up north and buy a bigger house here for half the money. I can't blame 'em, but the area doesn't hold the same "feel good" it used to.
