Hugger Orange/W stripes- 1999 Z28 M6
I just bought a set of Triton rotors F&R for my '99 Z28. They're slotted and drilled but I ADMIT I bought 'em for looks! Okay?
Gonna clean up and two tone the calipers black/silver and have CAMARO decals on the front and Z28 on the back. Thinking about ceramic pads. I've had 'em on the wife's vehicle and they hold up well, brake good, and seem pretty easy on the rotors.
My stock rotors are okay, but I have one that is very slightly warped (a turn would take care of it) because I get a slight squeak in every revolution of the wheels. It's driving me nuts.
Any recommendations for brake pads from a place like Auto Zone, Advance, NAPA, or such?

I've had ceramic pads on my car since I bought it. Couldn't stand the dust of the other pads
I might paint the calipers, but right now I need rotors mine are warped.

Did you bother with a compression test?

I take it you are happy with the pads?
I can't feel the warp in the rotor, but I suspect it is on the right side and likely the back. These new rotors look great (hopefully UPS delivered 'em today). I was thinking about painting the rotors orange to match the car, but a friend/co-worker of mine used to be a full-time mechanic and he swore to disown me if I painted 'em orange. They're two-piece, so maybe there is a compromise. I thought about aftermarket calipers, but most of the multiple piston ones aren't really that much better than the OEM one. Too much money for too little upgrade!
