Heck, no. It's a 3.8L V6 from the Buick GN.

Skylines are one of the most overrated cars ever. The ricers would be following you around everywhere if you had one of those cars, its ridiculous, they freakin worship them.
I don't think they are anything special. Its expensive as hell, doesn't look nice, and sounds like complete ass. And they aren't even that fast stock. Skyline = riceburner crap IMO.

Yep, pretty much. There's only so much power you can get out of a 3.5L N/A V6. And Nissan already has 270+HP from the factory, so you're not going to get much more out of it. Basically it comes down to removing some airflow restrictions (I/E, ect.) with the basic bolt ons. Not huge gains to be found, at all.

Um, I think you may be misinformed. I lived in Japan for a couple years and drove plenty of Skylines. The R34s were underrated at 276HP (Japanese manufacturers' "gentleman's agreement") and made more like 270awhp. They run bottom 13s-high 12s in stock trim...much like a LS1 F-body. How are they hitting 200mph for a "few grand"? My friend Inoyue had a worked maroon R33 that was awesome, but of all the cars over there, I'd still pick a Supra.

Nobody cares exactly how much is costs. Its irrelevent. The point is that in order to get a Skyline to hit 200MPH its going to cost a ton of money - in other words, its totally impracticle and a waste of time. The car isn't built to hit 200MPH - every component from the transmission to the suspension to the tires would have to be upgraded.
You could just buy a much faster, much better car, like a Z06, than can almost hit 200MPH from the factory. And it would still cost you less money.
