The deep red one in the second pic (fall color) is the same maple my kids are posing with. It's a green maple, acer palmatum standard variety. I have a lot of different varieties of maple, trident, deshojo, kiyohime, etc., but mostly tridents and standard palmatum.

Here's what it looked like yesterday. I just repotted it Saturday. It's starting to push buds, so it will be in leaf in a couple of weeks.

Well, I have the tropical ones in my house during the cold months. The rest go into a cold frame. It takes about three days for me to set them all out again in the spring. I can't seem to find a pic of the cold frame saved. Originally Posted by The Real Spaz

I had to re-style it once it fell and broke off a major branch.
