An actual remake. And yes it would have villains.

however, this site I found (i googled for the spiderman 3 trailer released on march 9) had another movie listed (i forget which one I looked at) and when I clicked on it, it said the movie was supposed to come out in 05. I forget which movie I was looking at, but it made me think the site wasnt credable.

That could make for a very fun movie. Stan Lee had the right idea- some of the best villains he created were based on nature gone wild, just like Spider-Man himself.
