Help Me Settle An Argument...

Cant get a straight answer anywhere else but I need to know how long weed stay in your BLOOD? Ive been arguing and debating with other people and what I know so far is that thc is stored in fat cells and from there is released in your blood stream. Dont care about a fat sample of some kind, but more importantly, HOW LONG DOES IT STAY IN YOUR BLOOD STREAM. Thanks for all your opinions in advance but this is driving my crazy!

btw the user was a first timer that did 2 hits of chronic.

I think it takes about 30 days after use to be able to pass a urine test... they say after 30 days its "out of your system"... I assume it would be out of your blood as well, I'm not 100% sure though.

blood testing is really expensive, is this for an employer? ususally employers dont blood test. but anyway it stays in the blood i think a few weeks. not that im into this kinda thing, i just dated a pot head before.

no its not for an employer, its a chemical screening due to a medication. They are testing to see if the blood contains any chemicals that would interfere with the meds. Its for a minor but since they might see the pot in the blood there is a good chance they would inform the parents and that is the dilema lol.

If you stop smoking weed you won't have to worry about it... Sorry I do not have a good answer to your question. I have not heard of a doctor doing a blood test looking for "chemicals/compounds" that might interfere with a prescribed medication unless they really want to test you for drugs... Usually doctors will simply ask what you have been taking and then make an informed decision based on what you say. It sounds to me like either the doctor doesn't believe you or your parents have requested the test.

well the other thought is if theyre only looking for chemicals that would interfere with the meds then the bud wouldn't even show up. Just my guess.

just take some Niacin and it will be gone in 3 days or less... it speeds up ur motabolistic (sp?) rate by over 5 times and therefore cleans blood like no other... im not a pot head but my friend has 3 bottles of it.. passes every drug test hes ever taken (hes on probation for the stuff...) .. but give it 3 days to a week to clean u out completely

Edit: Niacin is over the counter too

he got caught when he got tested for it because he got in a wreck and the last time he smoked it was over a month before that... so i'd say 40 days to be safe

I believe it's up to or around 6 months. Maybe 3; it's been a while since I read up on this stuff. It's generally a month in your system (pee), unless you help it out (then it's more like 1-2 weeks). If they do a follicle test (hair), it's several months.

I discovered that what people have been saying is complete bullshit. Depending on how much you smoke it will stay in your body anywhere from 3 days to thirty. Thirty days is if you are a daily heavey smoker and quit. 3 days is if you have smoked once in that month.

Even then, who cares? Just take a piss test via the Whizzinator.

It depends on how much you smoke, how much and what you eat, your weight, and your physical activities. I have friends who smoke (not me) and some of them get it out of their system in 3 weeks and some 1-1/2 months.
It also depends on what kind of test they do.

thats what ive come to realize. If im screwed, im screwed and if they ask ill just be a man about and tell em I tried it. Its just hard to get over it when your waiting on results I guess.
