06 Stang taken down
This isnt my kill, but it was in my car. A buddy of mine was using my car on tuesday. He said that he was driving on the highway, and some punk kid with a 2006 mustang GT started messing with him. The kid revved up his engine, trying to get my buddy to race. So my buddy reved it up, threw it into 3rd gear and took off. Slammed it into 4 and was gone. He said that before he knew it he was doing over 150MPH. Completely destroyed this GT. But I suppose that is what happens when you are in a superior (in every way) car.

Well...its got about 200 more HP than what he is used to driving. 2003 Kia Spectra. (150WHP...ish) It has 386RWHP. I let him drive it since I had gas, and he didnt. He has to drive me into work every day since my liscence has been suspended...(failing to pay a speeding ticket). So yeah...if you think about it...why are you so attached to your car?? Its a material posession that can be replaced. Its not a big deal. Lets assume the worst. He totals the thing. Whats more important. Him or the car. That should be a no brainer. As far as the 150 MPH thing goes. It gets up there pretty damn quick these days. So I'm not surprised that he got it up there. He said that he thought that he was doing about 120 based on the time. Looked down, and the speedometer was almost buried. Fun stuff.

Damn, 150, and its not even his car! Talk about taking advantage of a good buddy ole pal...
Well, umm...tell your friend GOOD KILL!
I have let family and friends get down on my car, just cause I want to see what its like in the passenger seat. And I have let my brother, uncle, dad, brother in-law, even my MOM dude, take it down the road for an eye opening experience. I gave them the OK to take out for a 5 minute romp 'n stomp.
But, if I were to let a buddy BORROW my car b/c of dire circumstances, he best not be out there trying to tear my sh*t up.
Plus, when it comes time to buy new tires or work on the Z28, those "friends" are nowhere to be found.
That is why I developed a personal rule now, whomever helps me work on my car, or buy parts, can drive it. If you DON'T, then you WON'T.Last edited by Roastem; 03-02-2007 at 05:38 AM.

Not a bad rule. He has helped me work on the car. Anytime that I buy a part for it, he's always there. So...according to those rules, he can give her a romp every now and then.
