Hugger Orange- 1999 Camaro Z-28
it may be cats it may not be cats - depends... some pinpoint testing is certianly neccessary so you dont waste money replacing non-failed parts
get it all checked out to be sure

The dealer replaced my cats at 90 k on fed warantee recall. Call the dealer and ask, have your vin ready , may be free, dunno about 98's though.

Sure it's P1420? Don't think that's a 98 F-body code? Maybe P0420?

Not trying to be sarcastic, just trying to help. I looked up P1420 on obdii.com, and gearchatter.com, and in my helms, and didn't see it listed that's all. Only suggestetd P0420 cause it very common.
