Anyone Installed FAST 78mm TB?
The old stock TB of course has three (3) mount bolts. The new FAST instructions say to install the bottom two (2) only and no mention of the top one. You can (I think the hole lines up) install the top one but it will have to be a much longer bolt due to the extra thick top portion of the TB. Any recommendations..how did you do yours?

I believe there is an adaptor to run that TB on a factory manifold.

I think he's right you need an adapter for it to mount onto a factory intake...And some food for thought if you get the LSX 90mm intake get the nick williams TB instead of the LSX 90mm TB because the NW is much better crafted..

bolt with a nut?
It is bolting up to a LS6. The bottom two (2) fit fine and are the coorect lenght (same as stock). I read the instructions again and they say if you are using the FAST 78mm on the FAST manifold (which is not my case) you have to use a new bolt with a nut. Maybe their FAST manifold is the same as a LS6and requires the nut/bolt combo. I am going to call FAST tomorrow and find out the correct install. Thanks

Called FAST on TB
Fast tech told me it should have come with at least one (1) longer bolt for the 12 o'clock position. I purchased off EBay so no hardware.Because the top hole is deeply counter sunk in the TB body (socket won't fit) opted for a long chrome plated metric screw. Fit great and everything works as it should and looks fine. Operating with the top one missing obviously caused a vac leak and the idle wouldn't go below 950. Didn't realize the latter until I installed the screw (duh). Wasn't going to drive it missing was just seeing if it would idle, etc. Seeya
