Yeah, but I've got a lot of life left in this LS1 with a little cash for small mods. I figure I'm better off saving for another powerplant and doing it right when this engine gets tired. I'll keep an eye on Z06's that get popped.

Sounds like a good choice. I was into that modular thing with Ford for a while, but GM really made a believer of me with a single stick and pushrods. Just too much money to squeeze power out of the smaller Fords that compares with GM's stock power.

These F-bodies do squeak though. The T-bird was absolutely squeak-free.

Still, it's about performance isn't it?

oh i still have my 87 monte ss areo coupe i will not sell that one for a long while. all stock i went 15.79 at 89. then i get my 98 ss and go 12.59 at 113 or so.

no but funny you say that i was just reading the mail and my doctor that was taking care of my finger just died the 3rd of this month i just got a note in the mail. kinda sad but he looked very old.
