Are F-Bodies the shit or do they suck?
Just wondering what you guys think... I have been going through comments on this site and see many mixed reviews... People say Camaro's and TA's are shitty cars with a great engine. I have an 02 WS.6 and love the hell out of it. Let me know what you all think...

If I was making a 3+ hour trip, I would rather ride in my '01 Grand Am GT.
If I was making a trip shorter...better believe I am taking the Bird.
That about sums it up.

Mine has just over 120K, I have dumped a ton of money in it recently but all by choice to get more power and make that power hook up. Oh AND EVERY one of those 120k+ I drove it like I stole it, no problems. She sleeps in a garage, I maintain regularly and thats it.

Mine drives rough when it is cold as well.
But it didn't when it was stock.

I have to agree with the comments so far. First starting out it seems like that car is going to fall apart. Then the power kicks you back in the seat and all is well in the universe.
I did a "quick" trip to NY and back from IL one time. 26 hours in the T/A was enough for me. I would much rather take my Ram quad cab on a long trip. The T/A is a blast though all together.

my suspension is jacked, and with the normal roar of the engine, sometimes I feel like im inside a dumpster with people banging on it from the outside.
but as far as performance-wise, absolutly amazing. You cant ask for better torque and response from any other NA engine.

i have owned 2 3rd gens and now 2 4th gens i would say watch for rust these cars dont have the strongest frame (sub-frames) but if they are not rusted out can be made great with just a few add ons just as long as they are taken care of not just washed they will last a long time but as with any car expect some rattles the good thing is as long as the car is solid all the rattles are an easy fix and they arent the most comfortable but definitely not the worst i havent lowered any of mine though im sure they ride worse you just gotta decide what you want and expect of your new ride and go from there

Man, I have never seen one rusty 4th Generation F-BODY. I live on a 1/4 mile long dirt driveway, mud gets all over it, daily drive in rain and snow, tons of sinders and salt, and I have 135,000 miles on the odometer. Not one bit of RUST! After it got totaled, I stripped it. And believe me I took a look at every panel, brace, and what not. These cars are BAD A$$!!
