Help pick out new car!
I've been looking at the Solstice GXP, but dealer and I are about $3,000 apart from me signing the deal. I also like the Saturn Skye Redline, but have a feeling I'm gonna run into the same problem.
What other 99-07 sporty cars are out there? I don't mind it being a 2 seater. I don't mind even looking at luxury cars (lexus, mercedes etc). It must be under $30k price tag.
I can't take my F Bodies to nicer places or to work. I work for a boat dealer. I do sales, financing etc. I need a more practical more upscale (at least upscale looking), but it must have some grunt and performance and hopefully decent gas milage

Test drive a 1-2 year old GTO... Sedan, more professional appearing, plenty of power and discreet.

I kinda want a vert. I have to have SOME fun in the car. Yes it will be my daily driver and has to be more professional. I deal with people that have ALOT of money so impression is everything. They won't notice that the car is older if it's clean and has the right name on it
GTOs are OK. I want something a little more upscale in appearance though.

Which is why I posted the Benz, it's upscale, 2 seater and a Vert, try an find something in that class for under the $30k mark.

I think you should find someone who will sell you a Soltice at the price you want

I dont understand..a Solstice GXP MSRP is $26515...I dont think you can get it over $30k and then who would pay sticker anyhow?
My next door neighbor just got a red/black Skye Redline and she loves it.

I personally dislike the GTO. I wouldn't buy one new or used. I said they are only OK. I'm looking for something compact and sporty. Not a muscle car. Not something I would want to modify.
What about the Audi TT? Are they really slow or peppy for a little car?

There are tons of Nissan 350Z converts out there cheap..do a search on autotrader.com or cars.com. They are pretty cool looking.
