yeah that's the reason I will stop at 450rwhp for now, running on stock heads for a while till I get more dineros to build up my A4 tranny... then I can slap the Patriot stage III heads on and a good tune = 500rwhp. so the 10 bolt I can leave it there with the 3:73 on already and it should hold.. cool!

Yeah Ed's putting down over 650 (on nitrous). Remember the slippage from an automatic helps preserve the stress on the gears.

Your tranny will easily handle 450, but for sure get a stall. Probably start with a 3200 and see how that works out. Stall converters make a tremendous difference. Also put in a tranny cooler too to help dissapate the added heat from a converter.
