I found several "pink" ones. SamAsh had several online. Best one was $149 (Daisy something) and looked too cheesy to believe.

I'm getting her a pink gig bag though!!!!

Huh? A switch opens and closes a circuit. Off, the contact is broken or separated so the current stops at the switch.

correct... but with a light switch off try putting metal in to the socket... you still get shocked... trust me... i do it several ltimes a tear because i have a bad habbit of holding on to the prongs...

it is sending yes, using no. the switch on the lamp in the off position has the 'open'. when the switch on the lamp is switched on, it 'closes' the circut and is then using power.

if you don't believe me, keep the wall switch on and unplug the lamp and put a paper clip in it. you will get shocked so that tells you power is going to the lamp but not the lamp/switch relay to the bulb to complete the circut, thus using electricity...
