    Ovation si truely one of the best acoustic/electric guitars out there... i have a celeb and i had it set up for me with very low action and i also filed down the fretts till they were almost flat with the fret board... good stuff...

    Thanks. You did see the $200 maximum? Ovations are outside of that, unless I'm missing them. I wouldn't mind if she gets into it, but that's a little hefty for a guitar she may give up, and I can't play.

    I'm looking for entry grade new. If she gets into it, THEN I'll have no problem putting up the bucks for a better guitar.


    Anybody got an idea was a left-handed Kramer/Farrington KFT-2 acoustic/electric in excellent condition is worth?

    Yeah, but that's long fingers on an eleven year old girl. I like Epiphones, but probably out of the price range ($200 max).
