Turn it off. With practice it will be the quicker way to get down the quarter.
Larry.

I didn't figure out why that is even on a muscle car. It's like the muscle delete button.

But it still defeats the purpose of the muscle car. If you know how to drive you don't need it.

Practice practice. I hate this traction control too, I find it rather useless for any circumstance.
A buddy of mine calls it ticket control,,,,lol.
I think what bothers me most about it, is that it comes on every time the key is cycled. I would rather have it turn on when I want to, which would be never in my case.
Anyway,,,,keep practicing. Keeping in mind the track will be a little different, with rubber down along with some VHT. May need to change your technique there. Larry.

funny thing is, in my old 1995 z28 with ASR, if you even sneezed it kicked on. I have read that when the LSx based cars came out, the revamped the ASR to be a little more 'free spirited' before it engaged and would pulse the gas pedal. i do have to say that has to be true to an extent because i can goose it a little in a turn and break the rear free before it kicks in. in my old car, i think it would sense, a stupid move coming and engaged itself....lol
