    Usually "cam only" means it'll have supporting mods also...like intake and headers...and of course springs, pushrods, etc. Anyone that literally just throws a cam in is a dumbass.

    Seriously. "Cam only means cam only!" ...no.
    Cam only means full bolt on with the only internal work being cam and supporting mods (springs, rods, maybe lifters and rockers). More specifically, it means no head work, and no power adders. A well tuned race-cam car can run 10s, so I think it's more than plausible.
