My Single Turbo Setup... Progress Pic's
On alot of other boards i post on i updated them with my progress pics from Stenod Performance.... I guess when this site switched over my old screen name was lost.... and my post count.... oh well....
For those who dont know...
This is a Single Precision GT42-76 Turbo.
1 3/4 Primaries with 2 1/2 crossover
5" Downpipe off the turbo stepped down to 4" to fit thru the K-Memeber.
Turbo Smart 48MM Wastegate and a Tial 50MM BOV.
The motor has been lowered almost 2" so custom motor mounts were made.
Bell A2A Intercooler.
I was raped by AP Engineering on my last Forged 370ci motor so Best Machine out of Detroit is building it for me. 8.87:1 comp.
A Carl Rossler PowerGlide and Strange Spooled Rearend round out the drivetrain.
Stenod is also doing a 10 point Chromoly Cage for me at the same time..... Heat will stay but the A/C has been long gone........
Thats the mock-up Motor in the pic's since my motor is still being redone.
Now onto the Pics......
Gutted for the new cage....
Here's the link to my whole Build-up....

The pics are great. The plumbing on the turbo setup is really nice! What kind of power are you looking at?
Obviously, this is not going to be a daily driver, with that cage.
Looking good so far. Good luck.

It will be trailored to the track and ill keep most of the stock interior for now and down the road i plan on two Kirkey race seats.

i've seen some incredibly nice plumbing before. what you have is right up there with the best of them.
but isn't that turbo a little small? its no small turbo i know but I've spent a lot of time with turbo buicks and that turbo is pretty big but not huge even by the standards of a little 231 ci v6. i would think you would be wanting to go a little bigger to feed the motor.
either way i'm sure its going to scream.
