Clutch Master Cylinder
Same thing happen to me about six months ago @42K. It took a new clutch master cylinder to fix it. Lots of ideas from fluid change, drill mod, and bleeding to name a few. New cylinder did the trick.

My guess would be the master also as the drill mod would'nt affect the 'petal' (pedal) from returning unless somehow fluid flow was blocked. It would take a big hunk of garbage to block the hose if this were the case. Also wanted to point out that the 01 +02 cars have better hydraulics.

so ya'll think i should get a new master cylinder and do the drill mod when i do the new clutch. i was considering an LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel. any ideas?? do i have to get a new slave cylinder as well??
