Black- SS 02 6SPD
I dont think that the companies differentiate between Z28 and SS. I think that they consider them to be different body styles. I told my insurance company that I was switching my coverage over to an SS, the agent said ok, "chevy camaro Z28".

Pewter- 2000 Z28 Camaro
$88.24 a month. I've got full coverage, $500 deductible and I'm ancient (61). That's with State Farm. I have two other cars and my house insured with them. I have my two vintage cars insured with Hagerty. $0 deductible comprehensive and collision coverage, full P.I. and P.D. The bill is under $300 a year for both cars. A 69 427 Corvette Coupe and a 69 Mustang convertible.

Sunset Orange metallic- 2002 Camaro SS #303
I pay $1080 a year, full coverage with Allstate. When I had my 98Z is was around 195 a month. State Farm sucks big time. Changed to Allstate this year when I had my Xterra. My insurance dropped in half. I highly recommend Allstate to anyone. Just my .02.
