if the heads are stock,, 100-150 max, I heard people with AFR heads/cam package did 200shot very safely.

I'm not really sure what you all are talking about. I've seen quite a few cobras making 600-700rwhp on the stock engine. Due to the forged internals and low compression ratio they're setup for higher levels of boost.

Take it from a die hard gm lover i owned an 04 cobra w/5oo hp maybe spent a total of $1500. bucks your not just gonna cut your cats of your ls1/or ls2 and go out and beat 03/04 cobras sorry when i drive my car the only thing on the road i really worry about r c6 zo6's and other cobras and as far as cobras breaking FORGED INTERNALS MANLEY H-BEAMS FROM THE FACTORY THAT CAN HANDLE 1000 PLUS HP WITH NO PROBLEMS so i dont know where all that noise about cobras breaking is coming from last i checked ls1's sometimes come down with a bad case of piston slap so i love gm hell i have a camaro right now but 2 beat a 03/04 cobra not impossible but pretty damn hard

lol i wouldnt say piston slap is a prob. its just intill it warms up..but granted most wear comes from pre -op temps

talk 2 anyone cobras r fast stock but they do have a tendency to break once more boost is added so don't try 2 kid anyone with that info

well 03 cobras are fast they arent nothing special and yeah i hate pretty much all rice but the TTsupras you have to respect you can run a sh*t ton of boost of the stock motor and the trans is bullet proof. rx7s are crap IMO they make power but they fall apart and i beleve this is about when ford took them over that they fell to crap but one thing that can run is a TT350z they dont come like that stock but they can be a fast car. dont get me wrong i love chevrolet but im not erogant another thing to consider is that the ls1 does have a whole 1.1 liter advantage but yeah fords are crap especially these damn gts that roll around where i live ridein in some damn rat pack touring the town. thats when i let em hear my pipes and show em my tail lights.

mustang gt the new ones are nice. the earlier versions need to be moderately modded to compete on the track with a ls1 stock. but gt are cool.
