What will it take to beat a 03cobra!!
whats up! i'm new but i'll jump straight to the point. I have to beat my friends 03 cobra. I don't no what mods I hace just bought the car, but i've beaten every ss or ws6 i've raced by about 5 cars or more. They say I must have a sleeper cam cause my powerband is very strong mid to high. Appreciate any thing you can dish out.
p.s yes i know there is ss's or ws6's that can wax my a@@!

bolt-ons, especially if you already have a cam. Of course, that's assuming the cobra is stock. If he's built, i hope you want to spend alot of money on heads and spray

You need to find out exactly what you got, I think those buttstains I mean mustangs cobra are supercharged stocked but im not sure

if u are pretty much stock and u beat the ws6 already, I'd dyno ur car and
see if u run lean. if u are extremely lean u'll fry ur engine soon. go check the air fuel ratio. might as well do a tune while ur at it.. ohh btw if u pull 350rwhp at dyno then u should be equal to a Cobra 03/04 stock.. the bad news is if the cobra friend has minor changes like supercharger pulley mod, and a cat-back,and a tune he is most likely 400rwhp..Last edited by djvaly; 11-24-2006 at 11:22 PM.

Whoever had this car before me took the muffler off. So it's just a 3in. pipe after the cats, Cutoff after the rear end. Im sure the cats are fried since they have no back pressure now.

cobras do break down easy but can be fast for cheap up to a certain extent
