Rap does involve a GREAT DEAL of talent! I bet you couldn't do it and other people would like it, could you? ....i thought u were some lil white kid or sumtin..my bad...some music entertains other races better than others and i understand u...not be rascist or anything...let me put it this way....theres about 1-2% black people that i have seen at the bon jovi concert i went to this summer or at country thunder...just like im sure at 50 cent concerts the majority is black leaving only a few whites there...i mean u wont see me or u jammin out to some arabian music...you see where im comin from,lol....i just dont like the young lil white wanna be gangstas tryin to black

I just hate when people look at one or two things and say hmmmmmm that car with the tinted windows and the 28s looks like a drug dealer car... then the windows go down and they see a driver with braids and ear rings and some shades... "yup that guy REALLY looks like a drug dealer now"

I just hate when I read stuff like that, because I know 99.99999999999999% the person they're talking about is probably black...

I mean What about big rims, braids, shades, a system, baggy jeans, the way a person talks, or even a blunt in a person's mouth, makes them a drug dealer? I threw the blunt in there to spice it up a little... but none of that makes a person a drug dealer...

This person could be any race with braids and all of the above, but that doesn't mean they're a drug dealer...

I've read on here quite a few times when they describe some who is black by saying, he pulled up with his rap blaring, spinners spinnin, tinted windows concealin... and then the author of the thread says then he stepped out with his pants on his ankles and said, "WUSSUP WIT IT?" and then they start raggin on stuff that is obviously a small small small part of black culture and to me it just comes off as racist!

I sometimes change up my appearance just like other people. I'm clean cut I wear pretty nice clothes, I don't talk like a "thug" even though I can if I want to. I don't do drugs I don't drink, never have never will(because of a tragic event which relates to my parents, as well as other reasons).... I'm a student studying mechanical engineering and I work for my belongings... I'm Christian(I still sin, try not to though), I'm ALSO A CAR FANATIC!!! Mainly muscle cars is what I'm into... Thats what brought me to this site... That's what we've ALL got in common.

I guess it just gets me every time when I read about stereotypes...

Stereotyping isn't always a good thing to do! I've got a rich white friend and you'd look at me and him and think two different things... He happens to be a bad ass lil kid actin dude, but he's cool with me, I've just got to keep an eye on him to keep him out of trouble, because he's 1000x more likely to do something to get into trouble as I am... He's always there to help me out and I'm always there to help him out.

As a matter of fact him, my girl, and I went to a car show in this racist town I didn't know about... I had my SS in it... towards the end of the show this fat white cop pulls up in the middle of the street behind me when I'm standing on the side walk taking pictures and he just starts staring at me and giving me dirty looks... I turned around and looked... My white friend said with grin, "He's gonna get you watch out." I said he aint gonna do a damn thang, and I turned back around... But I later confirmed with some of my co workers that that town was a bunch of racist inbreds hahaha(They really call it that)

BUT I was getting dirty looks from this cop and I've never done anything wrong besides speeding... IN MY LIFE! Just made me feel strange...

I just don't like stereo types to much that's all, especially when I can relate...

I hate hate hate hate hate rap. Has nothing to do with what color the morons who make it are. It has more to do with the simple fact that most people who listen to it in their cars like to make sure I can hear it from 500 feet away.

Ok, maybe not even most people who listen to it but 99 times out of 100 if I can hear someone's stupid "booming" system they are playing cra...err, rap.

Dont like most of it, I do like the way it makes girls shake their asses in the club. I have seen the Beastie Boys live and they were Awesome! I also seen the Wutang Clan on the Lollapalooza tour once and they were horrible.

i don't know about you, but the last time i heard metal, or hard rock, all i heard was a bunch of screaming with some loud drums and even louder guitars. that doesn't seem like much talent to me.

i like most types of music. but you can't really deny what rap has done for most of the audio industry. Just think, if it wasn't for rap, no one would have wheels over 15" and no one would know what an amp was, let alone know how to hook it up to a sub. and most of today's headunits, would still be stock.

just as an example for the "metal". i saw cottonmouth kings live at a car show. i don't know what catagory they fall under, but they were just terrible. most of the people in the croud were high. no wonder... i guess you have to be stoned to like it.

You have got to be kiding me if you really think that metal and rock bands have no talent. i happen to have been playing guitar for 10 years and the metal and rock bands have the most talented guitar players ever. They can solo better that any rapper could ever dream of rapping. This takes total devation to your instrument not just saying that you can rap now that you can rhyme. My little sister can rhyme so can she have a record deal. So next time you are going to say rock bands have no talent do your home work first man.
