i was coming out of a restaurant one day and a newer bright yellow GT Mustang caught my eye as he parked near my car. As i got closer i noticed that it had GTR and Nismo badges on it so i asked him why and he said that is was a special edition mustang with like 500 HP. I just about pissed on myself when i heard the explanation and he got mad and walked off.

I remember I was at a junk yard looking for parts a while ago, I remember two guys were dropping the tank off a thirdgen, and both of them were smoking. Judging by the condition of the car, it probably wasn't dangerous, but it still seemed pretty ironic.

I had the sales guy at Autozone argue with me about a small block chevy
400, I was building a 406 to go in my third gen about two years ago and needed the timing cover gasket set. It's just a traditional small block gasket, just like a 305 or 350 so he asks what I needed and I told him a timing cover gasket set for a 1970 model chevy 400ci small block. He goes, " You mean a Pontiac 400? " I said no, a chevy 400. He looks at me for a minute then walks back and brings me a gasket set, of course it's for a Pontiac 400 which is completely different. I said this ain't right, it's a chevy 400 not a Pontiac so he then asks what kind of vehicle this motor came out of. A 1970 chevy truck, C 20. The idiot keeps argueing with me over this motor, I told him just to bring me a gasket set for a 350 then just to shut the idiot up. After I thought about this moron for a minute I walked out and went to Advance and had no problems. BTW, this guy wore an ASE patch on his shirt, really makes us fellow ASE techs look bad.

Its funny you say that, I was looking through an Auto Trader last night and saw a red v6 98 Camaro RS with the SS hood. The seller had it listed as 1998 Camaro RS/SS. I had to get a laugh out of that.

A guy I used to work with put the HEMI badging on his dodge V6 pickup and he noted that he was always approached at gas stations by guys asking about how much he liked his HEMI. Stickers and decals work wonders....

For my next car I'm planning to buy a Ford Focus and put Ferrari badges on it with the hopes of picking up some hot chicks at the local kwik-e-mart.

I saw a Mercury Cougar tonight, it had a body kit and rims and all, but the kicker was that he had dual exhaust tips (It looked stock, no fart can or anything) but it looked like he took a hammer and tried to bang the ends of the tips into rectangles from the original circles. Whatever he was trying to do, he did a terrible job.

lol.....That reminded me of an old joke of when a blonde took her car to the local shop and told mechanic she needed her "710" changed. The mechanic confused as fuck, said whats that?!?!?! She then pointed to engine and said "there..see the 710 cap i need you to change it" the mechanic looked at it and said lady..its not 710 it says OIL ...you want an oil change? lol....
