Is it possible to put ls2 heads on an ls1??

Yes sir, they are the same as LS6 heads with the exception that the LS6 heads have sodium filled exhaust valve stems and LS2 heads don't. Both are 243 castings though.
I have the same cam as you, and a Vig 3600
'99 Z28 It's got the BADASS mod
