best c5 styling
obviously everyone wants the performance of a z06, but strictly based on looks, what do you think looks the best- the convertible, coupe(hatchback) or the hardtop frc/z06?

FRC, hands down. looks so much cleaner and menacing from all angles.

The Targa vettes definitely look 10x better from the side. I think someone should start a C5 vs C6 poll as well. Lately the C6 has been growing on me to the point where I think that it wins from all angles except for from the front. From the front there is no contest, C5 hands down.

I am a Z06 kinda guy and the hard top looks mean coming up behind you. It just has a cleaner look IMO.

im not pred, but im bored right now so ill answer you. the frc body style was in 99 and 00 and the zo6 was introduced in 2001 on. if you can afford it and like the flat back end over the flowing coupe window, go for a zo6 and preferably a 02+ they have 405 hp over the 01z 385 hp and the frcs 345hp

OR... do what i did and pick up an frc for around $20k with like 35k miles... and use the $15k you saved to make z06's beg for mercy...
one good thing about the FRC (99/00) is that no only are they stiffer due to the roof... they are all z51's... so they handle like a dream...
oh they are all 6 speed too...

but both coupe and frc are available in the z51 package and the coupe is available in selective ride control. if you dont mind not having a removable roof, the frc is slightly cheaper. but only available in black interior.
